Back in Novemeber 2010 I started my patchwork and quilitng course via distance learning with The School of Stitched Textiles. I have always loved making things, and not a week goes by where I'm not making something, be it a card, a cross stitch, a scrapbook, an apron, a cushion or a quilt. So when I started this course, the unanimous response from everyone I knew was 'That sounds perfect for you!' I am loving the course, and I have learnt so much already. My progress is not as fast as I would like, I just wish there were more hours in the day!
I do have other interests; apart from spending time with my lovely husband and looking after our 2 gorgeous children, I like reading, writing, shopping and one day I will return to Ceroc dancing, which I also love.
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher and who knows, one day, maybe I'll be good enough to teach patchwork and quilting as well.
